AOA assists single family property owners with services related to environmental planning and landscape design.
Environmental planning services include site reconnaissance, delineation, site planning and construction permitting (in relation to sensitive areas). First we identify any sensitive areas on your site including streams, wetlands, and threatened or endangered wildlife species. Upon identification, a delineation of the streams or wetlands is done that clearly marks the boundary of the sensitive area. Upon review of the sensitive areas survey, site planning services assist with locating the buildings on the site to allow for obtaining the necessary permits from the local, state or federal jurisdictions. We can assist with construction reviews and performance monitoring, if these items are required.
Landscape design services include initial consultation, site review, preparation of grading and/or planting plans, permitting (if necessary), and construction review. We will meet with you at your site to determine the assets and constraints of the property. This will supply us with information to prepare a conceptual plan. Upon review of the concept plan, we will work with you to prepare the final construction plans that may include grading and planting plans. We can assist with landscape contractor selection and review during implementation of the plan to ensure that your needs are being met at all times throughout the process.
